F.A.Q.
We are committed to providing a welcoming experience for all our players. At most of our locations, ramps are available that enable wheelchair access, making the X-Cube easily accessible for individuals with mobility challenges.
The X-Cube incorporates a range of controllers and touchscreens, ensuring accessibility for individuals in wheelchairs. While the lower controls are thoughtfully designed to be easily reachable, we acknowledge that the top part of the touchscreen may pose some challenges from a wheelchair position.
If you are uncertain about the accessability feel free to contact the location.
There are no age restrictions but the adult games are intended for teenagers 14 and above. When it comes to the kids games, they are suitable for children aged 9 and above. For the experiences designed for children, we recommend adult supervision.
We offer two options: games with a duration of 30 minutes and games lasting 60 minutes. For detailed information on the duration and content of each game, please visit our experiences page.
You can always cancel your booking. However, cancellation policies may vary by location. Please contact the specific location directly for more information.

Color blind individuals may encounter a slight disadvantage in certain games within the X-cube, but they can still enjoy the full experience.
We do everything possible to prevent technical problems. Before starting, please check if all screens are turned on. If something still goes wrong unexpectedly, contact the onsite staff immediately. If you’re unable to reach them, please call us directly.
You will only need to bring your confirmation mail with the entry code. Every that is needed will be availble in the X-Cube.
If you arrive late, it may reduce your play time, you might be unable to play, or we may need to reschedule your session to another date or time. Please ensure you arrive on time, ideally at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start.
Safety is our top priority. The X-Cube complies with strict safety norms and is regularly inspected and maintained. You are not locked inside; you can exit anytime and in case of a power outage, the X-Cube unlocks automatically. Additionally, it is integrated into the site’s evacuation plan and equipped with fire detectors and sprinklers where required.
We have Spy Training available in 30-minute and 60-minute versions. Here, you and your team will carry out various tasks to earn the title of master spy. These are all escape room tasks. There is also a kids’ version available for children from 9 years old. The game is available in both English and Dutch. Also in French, German and Portuguese.
In Murder at the Mansion, you and your team will solve a murder. This game lasts 60 minutes and teamwork is very important. This is also available in English, as well as Dutch, Portuegese, and Spanish.
The Crazy Gameshow is only in English and Dutch. Here you will participate in a 30-minute game show with your group. By playing all sorts of mini-games you can achieve the highest score and win prizes.
This does depend on which location you want to play the X-Cube at. For most of our X-Cubes we have on site staff since it is located with another company but for some of our X-Cubes for example Nieuwegein this is unfortunately not possible since it is in a stand alone X-Cube in an open shopping mall.
The X-Cube is not a standard escape room, but a couple of games are definitely in that category. Like an escape room, you are with a small group in a space where you have to solve puzzles and complete different missions to get out of the X-Cube or to get as many points as possible. The big difference is that the X-Cube is fully interactive, you are not locked in (you can leave at any time), and we have all different kinds of games in the same room. However, Spy Training is a game that is made by one of the biggest escape room builders in Europe.
It varies by location whether food and drinks are allowed inside. Make sure to ask the staff beforhand if it is allowed during your experience.
The hours can vary per location that has a X-Cube. Make sure to check out the website of the location you want to play the X-Cube at. On these websites you are also able to make a booking for the X-Cube present and the staff is always willing to assist you in making a booking on site.
Yes, you certainly can. The X-Cube is ideal for children’s parties. Each game for children lasts 30 minutes and can accommodate 6 children at a time.
If the group from the children’s party is larger than 6 people, you can take turns playing. Most occasions offer different activities aswell making it a good combination with the X-Cube. The small groups can compete against each other for the highest score.
You step into the X-Cube, a room equipped with screens, controllers with buttons, a touch screen, and various (light) effects. When the game starts, the narrator guides you through the experience, explaining everything along the way. You play the game using the touch screen, the controllers, and—most importantly—each other. The game has a clear ending, and after about an hour, you step back outside
The game consists of a maximum of four game days. Each game day, a murder takes place. During breakfast, it becomes clear who has been killed.
After that, the whole group plays a mission together to earn silver. Sometimes, daggers or shields can be obtained, which later provide advantages to their owners.
During the Round Table, the group discusses who the traitor might be, and a vote is held in which the group tries to banish the traitor.
If they fail, they at least know that player wasn’t the traitor.
If they succeed, and the game isn’t over yet, a new traitor is assigned.
Either way, the net closes in on the traitor(s).
The final banishment determines who wins the game: the Traitor(s) or the Faithful.
-
Faithful: These are the players working together to unmask the Traitor to win.
-
Traitor: This is someone secretly trying to avoid being unmasked (banished). If the Traitor makes it to the end of the game without being banished, they win.
-
Banished: During the Round Table discussion, all players (except a murdered player) vote on who they think the Traitor is and want to banish.
-
Murdered player: The Traitor gets to choose another player to “murder” a few times during the game. A murdered player must sit out one Round Table vote.
-
Dagger: Players can earn a dagger during the game. A dagger gives a player one extra vote at the Round Table.
-
Shield: Sometimes a shield can be earned. A shield protects the player from being murdered once.
Of course, unlike on TV, we can’t immediately send home every murdered or banished player. All players remain in the game until the end and participate in all missions. Being murdered does have consequences, but they’re only temporary.
If a Traitor is banished early in the game, we simply assign a new one. That way, the game stays exciting right up to the end.
No, the Traitor does not sabotage. During the missions, everyone benefits from earning as much silver as possible. What really matters is who remains in the end. If the (last) Traitor is not unmasked by the end of the game, they win.
No. You continue playing. Being murdered does have consequences, but they’re only temporary.
Then either you or the game will appoint a new Traitor.
All players turn around. One by one, players are called to face the screen (the mirror), where they can briefly view their role by tapping the screen.
All players turn around. One by one, they are called to face the screen (the mirror) and tap on the name of a player. Only the Traitor’s choice counts.
All players stand at their own controller. The names of all players are called out one by one. Each player must press a button to vote for one of the named players.
In the case of a tie, a second vote is held—this time only between the “finalists.”
It’s helpful if you bring at least one working phone (with internet and camera). It’ll come in handy for setting the players names and choosing their emblems.
Absolutely! The Traitors is a social game, so it will never play out the same way twice. The solutions to all missions are randomly generated each time. You’ll likely need less explanation and complete the missions a bit faster, but you’ll still need to perform. Book now
We don’t want to give too much away, but here are a few tips:
-
You’ll always need to adapt your strategy based on your fellow players, how well you know them, and the situation at hand.
-
Adjust your thinking as the game progresses: She wasn’t the Traitor—so maybe what she said wasn’t so crazy after all?
-
Most importantly, pay close attention to how everyone behaves, and whether they’re acting differently than usual. Then ask yourself: Why? Are they the Traitor, or do they know something?
Fill in all the required fields on the form and click submit. Once done we will come in contact with you (or contact person of the company) and send you all the details of the booking. Once both parties approve the offer the booking will be created and all details will be sent.

The very first person to start pointing fingers often ends up being the first to get banished… Think twice before leading the charge.
-
A murdered player loses their vote at the Round Table. So who got murdered—and why? The Traitor might even murder themselves to throw you off.
-
If you manage to banish a Traitor, a new one is chosen… Some players hold back their suspicions to avoid giving too much away. But who do you vote for next?
-
Winning a mission can grant advantages to the winning team. But if your Traitor is on your team, do you really want to win that round…?
